Via Croatia's four sailing yachts are among the most acclaimed vessels currently chartering in the Eastern Mediterranean. All four were custom-built in Croatia, all four carry six cabins for twelve guests, and all four represent a standard of design and construction that has now been recognised at the highest levels of the international superyacht industry.
S/Y Scorpios and S/Y Reposado are sisterships built by the same Croatian yard, and together they have collected the most significant design awards available in the global yachting world.
Scorpios, delivered in 2023, won three awards at the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2024: Interior Design over 40m, Best Sail 40M+, and Master Cabin. She was also recognised at the International Superyacht Society Awards the same year. These are not regional accolades. The IYAA is held annually in Monaco and is considered one of the most prestigious events in the superyacht industry.
Reposado followed in 2024, and the recognition continued. At the International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2025, held at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, Reposado won the award for best design in the Sailing Yacht category, described by those behind the build as confirmation that Croatian shipbuilding has earned its place on the world stage.
Two sisterships. Two consecutive years. Two international design awards, both won in Monaco. That is not coincidence. It is the result of a Croatian yard building specifically for the charter market, with the Adriatic in mind from the first design decision.
At 171 feet, both vessels accommodate 12 guests across 6 staterooms with a crew of 10. Scorpios features herringbone woodblock flooring, marble en-suite bathrooms with full bathtubs, a flybridge, a fold-out balcony to port, and 2x jet ski plus 2x SeaBob. Reposado adds a starboard side balcony, a beach club, a grill and pizza station, and interiors with cool neutrals and deep red accents. They are not identical, but they share the same philosophy: luxury designed from the inside out, for the guests who will live on board for a week, not for the photographs taken from the dock.
Charter rates: Scorpios from $156,000 per week. Reposado from $162,000 per week.
S/Y Clase Azul was custom-built to combine the heritage of sailing with the comfort and amenity range of a motor yacht. The result is a 157-foot vessel with sleek lines and bold contemporary design, carrying 12 guests across 6 staterooms including a full-beam master and a VIP suite with a private entrance. The sun deck sets itself apart with a jacuzzi for eight, a fire pit, a wet bar, and a TV projector: a social space that makes the deck an evening destination in its own right as much as a daytime one. Charter rate from $117,600 per week.
S/Y Rara Avis carries the most personal story in the fleet. Built at 108 feet on a high-quality steel hull with a handmade teak deck, she is described by her builders as the crown of a 70-year-long family shipping tradition. That is not marketing language. The handmade teak, the attention to every joint and fitting, the quality of the steel hull construction: these reflect the kind of inherited expertise that separates Croatian boatbuilding from factory production. The YACHTBEACH relax zone, sundeck with jacuzzi, and al fresco dining setup make her the most characterful entry point in the sailing fleet. Charter rate from $78,000 per week.
